Christchurch Lions Inline Hockey Club is a young, friendly and family-oriented club that has had success at all levels of the game. We welcome new players of all ages and abilities.

Our Seniors are known for playing hard but playing fair, with options available for social and competitive players in Christchurch or in travelling teams.
Lots of Options
Whether its learning to play, training, social scrimmages (informal games), a competitive local league or national competition, the Christchurch Lions support players at all levels.​​

Whether just starting out or an experienced player, we have an option for you.
Weds League
The Christchurch Lions run a competitive senior league on Wednesday evenings. This runs 4 times throughout the year, loosely aligned with school terms.

The senior league is made up of selected teams (for each term) battling it out in a series of games over the term, culminating in the much-anticipated finals.
​
National Teams
The Christchurch Lions draft travelling teams to compete at almost all Inline Hockey tournaments throughout New Zealand - from more social events (such as regular club trips to Nelson) through to highly competitive tournaments, such as Nationals.

We work to make space for ALL players who want to travel in the tournament schedule - whether experienced or just starting out.
